The BrightTALK™ Cloud Computing Summit today featured 12 of the world's leading cloud computing thought leaders.

Ben Rushlo’s session is now available for on-demand viewing here. Register and fast-forward to 03:25 to start right into the session.

Watch and share!

WHAT: Whether you are just starting to think about adopting Cloud Computing or have already implemented cloud apps in your organization, by moving from on-premise into the cloud you are giving up a lot of control. How do you make sure you meet your end-users’ performance expectations? They expect sub 1s response times as your on-premise apps did. How can you ensure such performance with your cloud service provider? Web performance is paramount for your users and not having the right metrics in place to remain in control of applications can lead to costly performance issues.

In this session you will learn how to remain in control of your applications by being able to catch performance issues as they arise through real time testing and continuous performance monitoring. You will leave this presentation with a solid approach to answering the question "is it the cloud, the app, or just me?" and the best practices to maneuver through the cloud computing challenges.

Enjoy and share!

Here is a list of the sessions available now and coming soon:

Keynote Overview
This three part tutorial will familiarize you with Keynote’s suite of Web performance measurement tools. We recommend starting with part 1 of this tutorial before moving on to the other topics.

MyKeynote Portal Start Page
This short tutorial covers accessing MyKeynote and viewing your “Start Page” which includes a snapshot of overall measurement performance, a summary of alarm activity, and links to access your saved graphs.

Time History Graphs
In this example-driven tutorial we show you how various Keynote graphs can be used to gain insight into your web site’s performance and availability as well as techniques for troubleshooting problems. This tutorial focuses primarily on the Time History graph.

Scatter Plot Graphs (coming soon)
Scatter Plots are ideal for triage. In this tutorial, we cover how to use the Scatter Plot graph to understand a performance or availability issue. You’ll also see how to use Scatter Plots to uncover the events which led up to an issue.

Agent Graphs (coming soon)
We show you how the Agent Graph can be used to identify agent-specific problems. The Agent graph is critical in showing network time differences between agents and backbones.

Global Tests with Different Browsers/Versions

I am interested in running a simple test that will hit a website of ours from a New York ISP as well as an ISP in Frankfurt. Additionally, we would like to perform multiple tests to determine the difference while using specific browsers (IE6, IE7, FireFox 2.0).

I see that by using an ApP script, the options allow you to specify the "Default User Agent". However, this seems to be a setting that applies to KITE in general, and is not a specific setting for my particular script(s). My concern is that this setting will not apply to the script once I run a global test.

I suppose my questions are as follows:

1) Can I run a Global Test with the ability to specify which browser is simulated?

2) If so, how do I do this?

Thanks in advance,

After recording a script from KITE, I just select 5-city test (from the top menu select "Script" then navigate to the button). When I land on the MyKeynote Web portal I simply find the script I recorded, upload it, select the cities I want to conduct the test from and presto, I'm off and running.

The problem is that I use this feature so often that the results page ("KITE results") is getting very long and I can't figure out a way to delete my old tests.
